In Person One-on-One Tutoring Details
Tutoring sessions are offered in person in Fairfax, and available Monday-Thursday, but availability is limited.
Depending on your child's needs, we schedule 2-3 sessions per week.
Each session is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Session Frequency, Rate, and Location
At least two (2) sessions a week are required to keep the integrity of the Orton-Gillingham approach.
In person sessions take place in Fairfax, near Wegmans.
Tutoring includes:
50-55 minute sessions 2-4 times per week
20-minute "check in" meetings with parents every 8-10 weeks via Zoom
Monthly progress summary outlining skills & concepts that were taught and/or mastered
The first session will involve comprehensive, non-diagnostic assessments
Communication between Tammy and other teachers and specialists working with your child
Parents can reach Tammy via email and schedule meetings as needed.
